Brideshead Revisited

There aren't many TV series better than Brideshead Revisited, which was first shown on ITV in 1981. It explores all the important themes - growing old, spirituality, war, falling in love, the passage of time, getting drunk, friendship, family and so on. The whole 13 hour epic is now being turned into a two hour film (see here), so watch this space.
